Text reminders, only when you ask for them.
TourMap members can choose to receive SMS text reminders before a saved tournament's registration window opens. Texts are strictly transactional — no marketing, no promotions — and only ever cover tournaments the member saved themselves.
How opt-in works
SMS is off by default. Inside their account, a member opens the reminder settings for a saved tournament, actively selects the SMS text channel, and enters their own mobile number. The number is never imported, purchased, or shared. The exact consent language shown beside the phone field:
How to reach me
By turning on SMS you agree to receive automated text reminders from TourMap about tournaments you saved — up to 2 texts per saved event (24 hours and 1 hour before its registration window). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel anytime. Terms · Privacy

- Frequency: up to 2 messages per saved tournament (24 hours and 1 hour before its registration window). No recurring or promotional texts.
- Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Reply HELP for help, or STOP to cancel at any time — reminders can also be turned off per-tournament inside the app.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
